Harrison Sand Castles...

I've been enjoying the website with pictures of the Harrison Sand Castles in BC. Very like the ice sculptures we have here, only... different medium, different art.

I love this one, but this is my favourite.

What fun - the Tennant look rules! Though I wish the "Eccelstion as U-Boat Captain" style would equally catch on....

Glad you enjoyed the sand castles. I'd like to see them in person some day. They remind me that I want to and intend to post pictures of the rock art in our own Ottawa River - not the same sort of thing at all, but still beautiful and interesting. And I have pictures lurking in my camera, just waiting for me to remember to do something about them. One of these days.

The mind boggles. How do they get sand to do that? Do they use some bonding agent? (I should have read all the text, it might have said.)
