Private Madness, Public Danger

Parked outside the warehouse, Bodie and Doyle waited for Jack Harkness to emerge, with or without the evidence. It gave them a chance to discuss the new agent.

"He's making a play for you," said Doyle, disgusted.

"You think?" Bodie looked pleased.

"He's an arrogant American git! You can't tell me you like him?"

"Tells good stories," said Bodie. "Military background. Dark hair. You're just jealous."

"Sod off."

"And a good shot, too."

There was a pause.

"'Course," said Bodie amiably, "I prefer 'em British and stroppy with curls."

"You should be so lucky."

Jack came running, pursued by gunfire.

LOL! Now I'm...well, I'm *trying* to picture Jack in bad 70s clothes. *snicker* At least we'd get to see his ass more often! :)

You know the problem with these drabbles of yours, is I always want to read the whole story! :) IOW, they're wonderful. Thank you for sharing, and please don't stop!

I think he'd just go on wearing vintage military, unless he was undercover. And then he'd probaby go for high camp. But those tight jeans... yes, Jack in tight jeans would be very nice. I wouldn't mind that. And remember those shirts of Bodie's with little check designs that in our bad VHS copies we all thought/hoped were little hearts? Well, Barrowman wears shirts like that now. In real life. God help him.

Don't worry, I won't stop, and I might even get one of my 'whole stories' posted one of these days.
