I got this from [livejournal.com profile] kikibug13, who used to be my source of many such things - why'd I stop doing this when she did?

Your Life Path Number is 5

Your purpose in life is to life freely and collect experiences.

You love life - new adventures, new people, new ideas.
You are very curious, and you crave novelty in all forms.
You tend to make friends easily, and you enjoy the company of all types of people.

In love, you are fun and even a bit intoxicating. But you won't stick around for long.

You are impulsive and spontaneous - which sometimes leads you to do things you regret.
Sometimes you can be overindulgent with food, sex, or drugs.
You have many talents, so many that you are often scattered and unfocused.

A little too accurate for comfort, maybe. But why should it be? The silly thing is just going by my birthdate. The truth in these things is the truth we see in them.

Heh. I do still take all the quizzes/memes I find on my friends list. And my muses' friends lists.

At lest the ones I don't think I've done before :)

Yes - sometimes I find myself doing a quiz or meme that seems absurdly familiar. At which point I usually just do it again, on the general principle that if I've forgotten, probably everyone else has, too.

(There's a major fallacy in that, the assumption that everyone else's memory is as bad as mine is. We won't go there.)

Oh. And some of the quizzes are nice enough for me to want to take them again, actually :)

That's true, and there's always the question: will I get the same result a second time?

Mostly I do, but that doesn't mean it isn't interesting to see.

I too took this quiz ... many moons ago. It said my "life path number" was 6, which was different, but not that different, from yours.

It seems to have pretty pictures to go with it. That's something.

What Is Your Life Path Number? (http://www.blogthings.com/whatisyourlifepathnumberquiz/)

It's, uh... not really.

No, I don't see much of you in this. Not that I know you well, but - it doesn't fit what I see.

This reassures me somewhat.

You know, I've often suspected that.

Well, I got the same, and it's very far from truth for me.

Same as yours. I intended to reply to the original post.
One of Adam's icons would be appropriate here:

Not very like me, as Adam's result isn't very like him.

some elements ring true, but the extreme of social butterfly goes too far...

Maybe your inner social butterfly is struggling to get out? *g*

I like the bit about "object of fantasy".

mmm, I have been the soicial butterfly once in a while, but usually that went together with bouts of slight hypomania. Something thoroughly oppressed by the meds currently. It would be nice one day to arrive at the point were I am less needfull of these artificial oppressors and can enjoy mild hypomanic bouts. But currently the ghost of depression as well as the equally frightening one of raging (hypo)mania and its possible twin of psychosis make such a step not realy attractive. So, as yet, no social butterfly.

Perhaps there is such a thing as a social chrysalis?
