...to a man I've never met, but he is another one of the gods of my pantheon. Alan Moore. Neil Gaiman put pictures of the wedding on his blog, bless him.

I'm not sure why this moves me. Perhaps because Alan Moore's writing has moved me. Perhaps because he has always seeme to me to be incredibly talented and incredibly troubled, a man with more heart and spirit and insight that one body can safely hold.

And I didn't even much like Watchman, but that isn't the point.

If anyone deserves happiness, it's Alan Moore, and I hope he's found it.

I would admire him for the Sinister Ducks, if nothing else! Yes, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and V for Vendetta, and some brilliant work on Swamp Thing, and he wrote the best Superman story I ever read - the man has amazing storytelling talent.
