Gareth David-Lloyd spoke at a convention today, and seems to have good news for fans - that Torchwood series two will start in October, like last year, and John Barrowman got it wrong. I do hope Gareth David-Lloyd is right!

He also says Ianto will have more of a role next season, and I'd say that's good news too, though it all depends on the quality of the scripts.

A possibility of Torchwood action figures - yay!

I hate to burst your happy bubble but GDL most likely got the October strat date wrong. TW producer Richard Stokes said last week that TW would go back into production the end of April, finish at the earliest in November, and is aimed at a January 2008 transmission date - like JB said. The reason for that being is them not wanting to air the series over Christmas because the ratings would be low.

I wouldn't even mind the TARDIS bedroom set, complete with action figures of Jack, Rose and the Doctor, a sonic screwdriver, a sonic blaster, and a banana. That would be the deluxe edition, and worth every penny.

I can't speak as to its being 'wrong'. I do know that my mind was nowhere near child-appropriate when I considered the issue.
