There's a Doctor Who Friending Meme being propagated and since I think such things are fun, I posted this, with my thoughts and preferences with regards to Doctor Who:

How/When did you hit DW fandom? May, 2006. I'd heard many recommendations of Doctor Who, but it was when I went to a meeting of a science fiction club in Montreal and saw "New Earth" and "School Reunion" that I became hooked.
Favourite Doctor/companion/alien/episode/script editor? (Just pick one if it's all too much.) It's never too much.
Favourite Doctor: Nine (Christopher Eccleston)
Favourite Companion: Captain Jack Harkness
Favourite Alien: (Besides the Doctor!) Jabe
Favourite Episode: "The Empty Child" and "The Doctor Dances"
Favourite writer? Steven Moffatt, Paul Cornell, Russell T. Davies
Least favourites? Or alternatively, most hated? "The Unquiet Dead"
A bit of Torchwood to go with your Who? Definitely!
What do you do in fandom? What do you love? I write. I love fanfic, action figures, art, music vids, photos, commentaries, and following the actors' careers.
Shipping preferences? Captain Jack/Doctor, or Doctor/Rose
Share a random fact about yourself. Honesty is optional. Because of Torchwood, I have a plastic pterodactyl hanging in my bathroom, above my action figures of Jack and Ten.
