As promised, I took my camera into my bathroom today, and took a picture of the corner over the sink, with the action figures of Captain Jack, the Doctor (Ten), and the pterodactyl hanging from the light fixture.

In the mirror behind the figures, you can see my framed picture of Ten and just the edge of a framed picture of Nine. And a hair dryer, but its purpose is to be useful, not artistic.

It could pass for one of the odd alien weapons one might find hanging on the wall at Torchwood. Or even an alien hair dryer, really.

Yes - my alien hair dryer! Just the thing for Torchwood. And with all that Welsh rain, I suspect they have to dry their hair at Torchwood quite a bit.

It's lovely. Personally I like to play Shark Attack 3 with my Jack figure and my toy shark. In my bathtub.

Shark Attack in the bathtub! Good idea! Do you have ships you can sink?

Much better than the smaller version, I think. I'm rather pleased how neatly he hangs.

Yes, exactly, and wouldn't capture the impressive and awe-inspiring majesty of our pterodactyl on the show.

Good to see the old traditions being maintained; in BBC SF the alien blaster is *always* a hairdryer

Date: 2007-01-31 12:20 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] fajrdrako.livejournal.com
Well, then, I obviously need Jack and Ten to make sure my alien blaster doesn't get out of hand!

Every bathroom needs a timelord and a space-pirate to save it from alien death rays (as long as they don't get utterly distracted by the combined pretty and fall into the bubble bath together!)

From: [identity profile] fajrdrako.livejournal.com
I would like to think (and hope) that if the Doctor and Jack fall into the bubble bath they can rescue each other. Or otherwise entertain each other. In the end, I'm sure the pterodactyl could swoop down and pull them out before any real mishaps occur. At least the can't drown - Jack's Immortal and the Doctor regenerates. We're okay.

On the other hand, if they use up all my bubble back, they're in trouble!

Now that is cool. Why can't I have my own bathroom? Or framed pictures of David Tennant?

From: [identity profile] fajrdrako.livejournal.com
Is that a riddle? I don't know why you can't - maybe in future? Make it a goal!

I tell you, when you stagger sleepily into the bathroom at the crack of dawn on a Monday morning, and look up to see the Doctor looking at you - it just perks up your whole day!

Love your icon. Now I'm all mushed out.
