I bought a pterodactyl at the Museum of Nature yesterday. Obviously only fannish dinosaurs interest me, but I've been wanting a pterodactyl action figure to go with my Captain Jack. So I spent some time hunting down the right kind of creature in the gift shop; there were two contenders, one small, one large, at the same price. I finally decided the larger one was more in scale with Captain Jack.

Now I just have to figure out how to hang him from my bathroom ceiling. I'll let Captain Jack worry about how - and what - to feed him.

Yay!!!

While I'm content with just... sort of... you-tubing and trying not to startle all my co-workers with laughing till I cry over Anything you can do... which I've seen multiple times and it's still too funny.

And I've decided there is just no way possible I could reduce my favourite Jack quotes to 12. Absolutely not. Going through the subtitles the other day I found even one line I hadn't noticed... And it's soooo Jack (On Carys and ex-bf... "lucky she's young; if we had to go over my back list, we'd be here until the sun explodes" or something like that. Now how could I miss that while WATCHING?!)

Yay, pterodactyl! :)

Any Cyberwomen in your bathroom? Just douse in barbecue sauce and it's snacktime...

If I had an Ianto action figure (I wish!) I might worry about that. As it is, I am prepared for any such contingency. I suppose I should keep the barbecue sauce on hand in case anyone visits that I'd really like to be rid of. (Spiders or flies, perhaps?)

He's very handsome, too. He looks just like the pteradactyl actor in Torchwood, without the audio attached. He was billed as a pteranodon - has a little booklet tied to his neck telling all about his species. I bet Captain Jack's pteradactyl didn't come with a booklet! ("Add barbecue sauce for ideal habitat....")

Shades of Dragonflight or maybe Eragon. Jack does like flying....
