In today's newspaper, my horoscope said I had "charisma and pizazz". Wow. I like that. All my friends had better look quick, though, if they want to see it - I think that's just for today. Tomorrow I'll be an ordinary mortal again.

*snarfle* Nice!

Yup. I plan to enjoy this while it lasts.

When I read that, I thought it said you had "Charisma and pizzas" - though if you are giving away pizzas, you don't really need any charisma on top of that.

Pizza would be nice. Maybe for lunch. Good Torchwood food.

Oh... Don't forget the donuts, while you're at it... ;) (I mistakenly labeled this icon as pizza. Seems it was actually a donut).

I tend to go for a lot of pizza OR Chinese (last time I looked at screencaps, it made me make a mental note - next time I watch Ghost Machine, I should check who is using chopsticks. Tosh and Owen I saw... have to check the other three). Lunch with co-workers. NOT in the office, though.

I never noticed, but prediction = gwen not, jack, ianto is.

Aw you even got it on ICON!
I think I'm with you on the expectation for Gwen. (My guess would be that Rhys would know how to, though). Hafta start the re-watch... Possibly if I go home in a timely fashion tonight...

Well, Rhys seems to be the one with an interest in food. But I suspect Gwen might well use chopsticks too. Not a rare skill.

My dad can't, and if anyone reminds me of gwen, it's my dad. He's not prepared to learn, he just wants to eat it quickly.

Well, I can relate to that!

I think Jack would be very good at eating with chopsticks, but would enjoy eating with his fingers.

Tosh wouldn't think about it either way, or even notice.

Gwen would use chopsticks and be proud of her skill.

Ianto would use chopsticks and find a way to be extra clever about it, without drawing attention to it. Catching flies or something.

Now I'm picturing Ianto feeding the Pterodactyl with chopsticks.

Owen shows off his autopsy-level hand-eye-coordination by his delicate use of chopsticks - then realises no-one else is looking, and shovels it down.

LOL, yes, that would be Owen!

My view of the male population is that a high proportion of it is owen.

What a sad comment.

Too bad more of them aren't like Jack.

Rhys is supposed to be the ordinary man in Torchwood, but Owen is more it to me.

Yep, I remember that one. :) I actually find it a lot more amusing this time around :-? Amusing is good!

I was impressed that anyone could have any kind of ideas related to pie. I certainly didn't.

I've been terrible for ideas for the more recent prompts, but pie means so much to me. ;)

I don't think I've even looked at the past week or two. Time to get my act together and do something about it!

Current theme is reverse fandom: avengers.

I have 3 promised fics [one to annoy [livejournal.com profile] duckbunny and two for [livejournal.com profile] tw_exchange], so I don't see me there in the near future.

I just have almost-finished things on my hard drive, and a few other things in my head, that I want to do for my own satisfaction. I've given up in doing challenges or exchanges: I can't necessarily do anything to schedule and I don't like the sense of obligation. Except, of course, when something really tempts me.

I haven't started any of them yet.... but bunnies are biting my ears off.

There's only one way to handle them - by writing them down!

Donuts! That's so Canadian. Maybe I'll have a donut at lunchtime, then.

I don't have lunch with coworkers because we all take lunches at different times - and besides, I like to read over lunchtime. But I sometimes have pizza with friends.

Indeed - though it can cause Torchwood Withdrawl Symptoms.

I have an RPG to help hold that one off. Helps with Doctor Who too (right now, my character is having chips with Ten and Alt!Universe Jack - who hadn't met the Doctor yet, but doesn't let it show). MM... the advantages to play as a pretty girl ;)

Sounds like fun!

My Torchwood Withdrawal Symptoms are staved off with fanfic and watching episodes over again, and finding music vids. I love other fans for providing me with entertainment.

That, too. I laughed so hard at the fanfic about the Five Things Jack learned... (And as I claimed the challenge crossover with Titanic from tw_exchange, I'm thinking of ways to NOT make it cheezy... not much, at least; I'm behind on tw100 as well. Sigh. Lazy me!)

Jack on a sugar high... ROFL!

Five Things Jack learned...

Yeah, wasn't that fun? Isn't that the one that had the line - which I loved -"Why do we get all the kinky sex aliens?" Heh.

I too am behind on TW100 and all those other things I wanted to do. But now I'm feeling better, maybe I can do it!

Date: 2007-01-22 05:05 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] kikibug13.livejournal.com
Uh... I don't think that's where this line comes from. The only mention of "sex" is in the word "sexist".

The Five Things include the team puzzling out what an alien thing is - turns out to be a Teddy Bear. And Jack's insane sugar high (Owen ends up with green stars on his forehead. HEEEEHEEE! And that's before he locks himself up in the interrogation room)... those goodies.

Ah well, I'm terrible at remembering which story is which, especially when I read a pile of them just before going to sleep, which I often do. I do remember the sugar high. As if Jack needed that. The alien teddy bear was a neat idea.

Wow - 'charisma and pizzazz' on the same day.

I'd be happy with just one of those!

Yes, really, it's a double-dose!

I wonder if anyone has noticed yet.
