It's been a while since I looked at the Torchwood website to see what goodies they'd put up. Fun to browse, but a little frustrating too - the whole thing is an appalling tease.

- in Ianto's collection of photos, I don't see anything added to the pictures of him and Lisa. I'd love to see a similar picture there now of him and Jack.

- There's a cute item where Ianto decides to form his own cult - of coffee drinkers. "So who's with me? King Ianto's Coffee Club. Join it for everlasting peace and damn fine coffee ...Gwen and Tosh said they'd sign up. Owen called me a nutter. He'll be the first one to go under King Ianto's regime."

Gad, I do love Ianto!

- There's a delightful and in-character note from Yvonne Hartman. Undated.

- Why is it that, looking for it now, I can't find the IM conversation between Jack and Ianto right before Ianto goes to his office - after the stopwatch conversation?

- one of the newspaper clipping items about Captain Jack Harkness mentions a Captain Robert Silver. Does this have any significance?

- It's both funny and horribly sad that after Captain Harkness' death, Nancy told the journalists she was his fiance.

Thanks for reminding me about the Torchwood site - there's lots of good stuff that's appeared since I last checked it. There goes an inordinately large chunk of my (work) morning...

Have you seen this: Know Your Zombie (http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/torchwood/8zombies.pdf)? Bit of it are hysterical:

"There are tales, frequently ghoulish and anecdotal, of undead Zombies needing to devour the bodies and brains of the living. But this is more likely due to simple primal urges to feed than any malice." How very comforting to know that!

"It is easiest if they strap you to a bed, if one is handy, gag you , and then lock the door." Note how it isn't specified whether "they" would be locking themselves in the room with you... Kinky lot, these Torchwood people. OTOH, Capt. Jack is welcome to tie me to the bed...

The site is such fun to browse. It's like a scrapbook, with such random items, adding a little verisimilitude to the universe. Or at least a few corroborating artifacts.

How very comforting to know that!

Ah - the zombies are not malicious. Just deadly. Makes me feel so much better!

Kinky lot, these Torchwood people.

It has to be one of the reasons I love 'em.

Capt. Jack is welcome to tie me to the bed...

I think there's a rather long queue for that privilege. (Ianto being first in line.)

That's it! Under Suzie - how'd I miss it? Love that one, especially Jack's line: "God, did I just use a smiley? I really am going native." And Ianto's amusement. And the way he calls Jack "sir". And the "Loving you in that suit."

Jack is such fun. I mean, aside from being sexy and angsty and messianic and heroic and all he's just ... fun.

I think Silver was one of the other young airmen to whom Tosh and Jack were introduced.

I love Ianto's cult!

Incidentally, I see there are now the first few Torchwood novels in the shops!

Silver was one of the other young airmen

Well, then! That explains it. It had a familiar sound.

I love Ianto's cult!

Me too. The whole item is another example of Ianto's sense of humour.

I see there are now the first few Torchwood novels in the shops!

I ordered one on amazon and just got a message that my order has been delayed by a few weeks. Grump. Now that I don't have new episodes of Torchwood to watch for a while, I was hoping to have the novels to read. Yes, all I have to do is be patient.

I love Ianto being so funny under the deadpan demeanour!

I agree absolutely - it isn't even what he says that's so funny, it's the way he says it. So earnest and so witty at the same time. It's a style all his own.
