John Barrowman talks about Scotland...
Jan. 3rd, 2007 07:52 pmIn the current issue of Scotland Magazine, John Barrowman was asked:
Tell us about your five favourite places in Scotland. "I would say Glasgow over any other major city. I was born there and for me it has everything, and the people are really friendly and welcoming.I've never been to Glasgow, have always wanted to go there. But I have wonderful memories of The Witchery. I was there at the tail end of a Dunnett Gathering - was it the one in 1994? I've seldom enjoyed an evening in a restaurant more.
"Next would be Edinburgh for the Castle, the Royal Mile and The Witchery. I ate there once and if you want to find some showbusiness, this is the place, especially during Festival."
Nice to know that Barrowman likes the same place I do. And he likes Robert Burns too - good choice!
“Burns Cottage is my final choice. As a child in America my mum and dad organised Burns suppers. We travelled around the States and my father would do the Immortal Memory, my mother would sing Burns songs.

Date: 2007-01-04 01:50 pm (UTC)I've been to Edinburgh maybe a dozen times, and I love the city. But I've only ever been to the suburbs of Glasgow. I didn't plan it that way! Someday I'll get to see the city, I hope.
