I am at work listening to Doctor Who - A Celebration on BBC. What bliss! They're playing the music from The Girl in the Fireplace right now.

Here's the intro:

Coverage of the one-off concert for BBC Children in Need. Featuring the Doctor, David Tennant, Russell T Davies and the music of Murray Gold, as well as the Daleks and Cybermen.

David Tennant's introduction was quite wonderful too - pointing out the interdimensional rift only a few steps away from the concert hall, not to mention the secret underground installation under the pavement. And Dr Lazarus? The man's a tease.

But we all knew that.

It's just wonderful. I'd love to see it on DVD, too. But at the same time - it's miraculously wonderful that we can listen to it via the Internet.

I loved it! We were hearing the upcoming soundtrack CD with live liner notes. David...I just love that man: "Well may you woo." Adorable!

Thank god it's archived. It was wonderful being able to fast forward past those annoying presenters.
