A good day....

There were five hundred kids at a show at my theatre today. We usually have audiences of 500 or so, but usually not kids. The noise level was phenomenal.
But once they were in the auditorium and in their seats, they were quiet and good - except you could hear the laughter. This is good. I really felt heart-warmed, that kids were learning to enjoy watching a play. I bet it was a new experience for a lot of them.
At lunchtime, I went to the fitness club and proved to myself that I could read a comic book while using the elliptical trainer. It was a little distracting but it was fun. The comic was Xtreme X-Men #1.
After work, I managed to walk from the theatre to my hatha yoga class at the Quaker Meeting House and still get there on time. It was a special class for relaxing poses and an introduction to pranayama - the breathing exercises. It was so relaxing I think I fell asleep half a dozen times. I know I was dreaming about CLex. Yes, I know that "concentrating your awareness" isn't supposed to mean "fantasize about your next Smallville slash story".
