1. How much time do you spend on the Internet daily?
I don't time myself. A lot, depending how much time I have.
2. What are your favorite 3 websites?
- Internet Movie Database
- Can I call LJ a 'site'?
- Ottawa Public Library, the site I use, probably, more than any other.
3. Do you eat at your computer?
Often.
4. Pick one and why - Reading the news online or in a newspaper?
Pick one? You mean, like a preference? Whatever for? I get my news from newpapers, online and radio about equally. I like all forms. If I could only have one, I suppose it would be the newspaper. After all, it has crosswords, movie listings, comics and Dear Abby.
5. How many people are on your instant messenger buddy list?
I never counted.

Date: 2006-08-04 09:59 pm (UTC)My internet usage sounds very like yours - and yes, when I was depressed I was probably online more because there were many mindless distractions. It was a great comfort. (Or at least... more interesting than staring at the ceiling.)
Yes, MSN, AIM and YAHOO messenger would all qualify for the question. I have them all too but I use them amalgamated in a program called Trillian and I don't usually differentiate which is which.
