Two Gentlemen of Verona..
Jul. 29th, 2006 09:15 pmI thought I'd seen this play before, but it didn't turn out to be familiar.
A Company of Fools did Two Gentlemen of Verona in Windsor Park this evening, and I went to see it with Beulah. As usual, it was inventive and lively - my favourite bit was the 'picture of Sylvia', which would defy explanation, it was...visual comedy. Well, it was all visual comedy. With a large and appreciative audience, kinds of all ages, and the occasional dog. (Not just the wood-and-cushion dog on the stage.) My favourite character was Lucetta, played by Emmanuelle Zeesman with a heavy Quebecoise style.
