I was hoping for Venice...

| You Belong in Paris |
![]() You enjoy all that life has to offer, and you can appreciate the fine tastes and sites of Paris. You're the perfect person to wander the streets of Paris aimlessly, enjoying architecture and a crepe. |
I haven't been to Paris in thirty years. I never knew it well, but it holds good memories.
Memories of Paris: the geraniums in the pots on Madame's balcony in Medun; going to a lecture on the Pleiades at the Sorbonne where the seats are uncomfortable and I wished I could stay forever; the street pastries; the sunshine over Sacre-Coeur; the bookshops along the Seine; Bill playing the guitar at the foot of my bed in the mornings; the statue of St. Bathildis in the Luxembourg Gardens; the unicorns in the Musee de Cluny; the liveliness of the place.
It has nice hostorical and fictional resonances, too. Peter Abelard and Henri III; Highlander and Francis Crawford.
