Yes. Very pretty. He reminded me of the mornings I used to walk by the Ottawa River, and see all sorts of birds. I no longer live close enough to the river to do that.... But I could, at least occasionally, take the time to wander by the river early in the morning. It's so lovely it would be worth doing.
How lovely! The General Manager here, who lives in a suburb to the east of the city, tells me she often sees them pecking in the gravel of her driveway. I guess it's because I live in the centre of the city that I don't see them often - when I do, it's a treat.
