I found this amusing review where the author, Harry Venning, tends to find Jeremy Irons annoying. I tend to find him sexy; perhaps this is a gender/orientation thing? "It is a measure of how successful the production was that Irons did not irritate me once throughout the whole two hours plus," says Venning. How odd.
