Had a lovely walk at lunchtime with Lisa. We stopped in at A Culinary Conspiracy and Lisa bought some almond cookies and some chocolate shortbread to serve tonight to me and Lynne at her place. This puts me in a terrible moral dilemma: I have been diligently avoiding sugar and wheat, except on Sundays. This is not a Sunday. And yet it would be a crime against humanity to not each such delicious things.

Perhaps her daughters will raid the package before Lynne and I get there, and save me from the dilemma.

But I would be disappointed if that happened. I like temptation.

Eat the choccy shortbread now and forego the wheat and sugar on Sunday.

Or eat just a nibble or two, and save the rest until Sunday. :-)

I just had a little bit; and it was actually very rich, I didn't feel the need for any more. So I had the satisfaction of feeling decadent (because I had some) and virtuous (because I didn't have much) at the same time. The best of all possible situations!
