I can't say this one was a surprise, though I was a little further towards the masculine than I expected. Love the picture, though. Just call me Trinity!

That thing cracks me up. I come out highly masculine, I think maybe 70%, and yet I had more yes's on the Girly Meme than you even contemplated. How does that happen? :)

Who knows? Despite all evidence (!) I think of myself as extremely female in personality - in a nurturing and people-oriented way, not a make-up and high-heels way. But I also think that a high degree of androgynousness is also a sign of high intelligence, and if traits like independence and resourcefulness are treated as masculine - which may be true but it's sexist to assume - well, they are desirable traits for anyone. And so is being kind and gentle.

With any luck this means we're able to write good male characters.

So feminine, not girly.

I think the concept of femininity and masculinity in general, no less in an online quiz, is pretty bias.

With any luck this means we're able to write good male characters.

I sure hope so, I'd say a majority of my characters are male, so I'm in trouble otherwise.

Feminine not girly

Yes, that's it.... So why doesn't 'womanly' sound right? Wrong nuances, probably for sexist reasons. Silly language anyway.

In a historical context, women are very hard to write. I'm working on that.
