Ice...

There's ice everwhere. Some has melted and people have chipped and salted it off the sidewalks, but it's still everywhere.

Kind of puts a damper on the idea of walking anywhere, but that's winter for you.

Maybe it'll snow again soon and I can go out with my showshoes. I want to try going to work on them. along the canal. I think it will take hours - but I think it will be fun.

When I get some energy back. If I get some energy back.

Winter. Grump.

Are you feeling better? We stayed inside today; I didn't really want to drive but the road looked pretty ice free. It was the cars and porches and sidewalks that were encrusted with ice.

There was ice everywhere when I walked to the bus stop this morning. I had a terrible time with the ten-minute walk to Bank St - slipping and sliding every step. But it wasn't bad coming home.

I'm feeling good but every time I laugh I go into a coughing fit. And suddenly there seem to be funny things everywhere!
