Went to brunch this morning at the Arrow and Loon with

josanpq,

maaseru,

maaboroshi,

chinae and

lmondegreen. Our regular waiter - the one who didn't bring us spoons - wasn't there, but the blonde waitress was fine, and overheard us talking about Lost with great enthusiasm.

We were reminiscing about Echelon cons of years gone by, and slashy fannish games we used to play. I miss them. It made me feel old.

Otherwise, had a great time.

For the afternoon, I went to Sheila's with a group of friends to exchange presents, talk, watch a movie, and to eat a Christmas dinner. We watched Holiday Inn, which I have never seen before. Enjoyed it very much. Especially Bing Crosby. I never realized I would like Bing Crosby if I actually saw him in somthing. I particularly liked the rather feminist theme - that the woman didn't like the men making decisions for her as they fought over her without ever telling her their feelings or intentions. I've seen that happen way too often in Real Life.

Wish I could wear some of those lovely dancing clothes...
