When I got dressed this morning I put on a pair of Christmas socks. They're black and red, with pictures of reindeer, and little bells.

Then I was walking around the apartment, feeding the birds, making my breakfast, and I keep hearing this tinkling following me around.... Ah yes. The bells.

I feel like a reindeer. I like it.

I often wear ankle bells-- the bright little silvery ones-- while travelling. Sort of a good luck charm. They're supposed to ward off mischievous sprites... but I always wear slighty-too-long pants, too, which has the effect of making people look around to see what's jingling! I love it.

Maybe I should do it more often! So far no one seems to have noticed - mind you, there's practically no one around the theatre yet and I've mostly just been sitting at my desk since I got here. Still. It's fun when I do get up.
