Favourite fannish memorabilia...
Aug. 13th, 2005 03:53 pmThe question this week: What are my "five favorite pieces of fannish memorabilia"?
Ooh what a question. Do stories or fanzines count as 'memorabilia'? Mostly art, I guess.... My choices:
- A program from Hamlet done by the Royal Exchange Theatre Company, signed by the lead actor, Robert Lindsay. This was a Christmas gift from my friend Jan.
- A statuette of Aragorn with sword raised
- A piece of Clex art by Suzann Lovett, given to me as a Christmas present by
maaseru - a Professionals fanzine called Motet for New Voices in B and D, put out by Keynote Press, in which I got the autographs of each of the contributors.
- A portrait of Gambit from the X-Men, drawn by
maaboroshi and given to me as a birthday present.
I smile just thinking of these wonderful fannish things.
