History and hyperbole...
Mar. 24th, 2005 11:58 pmBefore work: twenty minutes on the elliptical trainer, as planned, listening to a Georgette Heyer tape. Breakfast of Phase II, Day 1 of the South Beach Diet, as planned. Half an hour reading and writing e-mail, not as planned. Consequently I was not quite on time for work. Eeek.
Lunchtime: read The New Avengers #2. Liked it even better than the previous issue.
After work: met
There seemed to be many people in the streets, even at almost midnight - perhaps because of the suddenly mild weather. ("Mild" means "anything remotely above the freezing point".) Lots of odd people around, too. At one bus stop, a wandering gentlemen was looking up at the sky and shouting: "How can you say you're God?" On the bus, a woman was shouting and wailing loudly at no one in Chinese.
Tired but happy.
