jfc013:
A profound sense of calm surrounds the 1952 Libra. Never hurry and never worry," may be your motto. The wisdom of your attitude is reflected by your youthful appearance.
Hey, I like that part! When your contemporaries are sporting gray hair and wrinkles, you'll look fresh as a daisy. You're one of the least competitive people around
that is so true...
-you'd rather come together with folks in the spirit of harmony. If you weren't so genuine, lots of people would be envious of you. Chances are, though, you have many loyal friends.
Patient and understanding, you would make an excellent teacher. Any profession that involves putting people at ease would suit you, too. You could run a successful hotel, restaurant, or health spa. A great deal of your success can be chalked up to charm. The year you were born, Dorothy Hamil became an international sensation when she won the gold medal for figure skating in the Winter Olympics. Her wholesome appeal is quite similar to yours, and this should take you far in any career.
I'm not sure 'wholesome' is really the right word for me. I'm nice, but I'm not really wholesome. You may not be very practical when it comes to money and may outspend what you earn. Ruled by the planet Venus, you may find it hard to resist expensive items like gourmet food, designer clothes, and fine furnishings.
Naw. "Gourmet food" is right enough but I've never been able to indulge myself in my love of fine furnishings (would if I could) and designer clothes don't interest me. But the principle is right: I have many weaknesses: comics, books, magazines, movies. If you're not careful, you might have to rely on friends to bail you out of debt. This can be embarrassing, as you put great stock in your pals' opinions. Do yourself a favor and learn how to live within your means. It may be one of the most important lessons you will ever learn.
You like to cultivate friendships with well-established, respectable people. 'Taureans, Cancerians, Leos, and Capricorns have a sense of dignity that you admire. Romantically, you would be well-suited to someone who is fiery and passionate. Such a mate would serve as a counterbalance to your placid personality. Your greatest challenge is to be more practical with money. Although you may not worry about material matters, your loved ones probably do. Do you really want them to assume responsibility for your obligations? Your biggest strength is your sense of peace. Use it to comfort people in distress.

Date: 2005-02-19 06:51 pm (UTC)Hey, I'm just boggled that any of it felt right!
I've dabbled a little in astrology but on the whole I find that the detailed horoscopes aren't much more on the mark than the vague ones, because life is so complex and unpredictable; and I concluded it was more trouble than it was worth. More significantly, I find it a good tool for new angles on introspection.

Date: 2005-02-19 07:06 pm (UTC)I felt that way too when I first played around with learing how to read birth charts. But it kept nagging at me, and I can be really stubborn, so I kept at it 'til I could either dismiss it as useless or better see the whole picture of it, how it worked (if it did) and what good it was. *shrug* Now I'm pretty well convinced that it's surprisingly accurate and can be very useful.
