An unexpectedly beautiful day. Temperatures above freezing, with a warm sun and lots of melting. I went for a walk in my light coat, and was so warm I took it off. Amazing.

I was up early - couldn't sleep - and did quite a bit of housework. I'd planned to go to CostCo with

maaseru but discovered at the last moment I didn't need to - I was going for printer ink but I still had an unused box. Turns out that letting

maaseru know at the last moment was the wrong thing to do, as otherwise she'd have had a ride with another friend. I felt terrible about it.

Went to the Pho Bo Ga on Somerset to meet up with

commodorified,

damned_colonial and Alayne. Enjoyed myself mightily with kindred spirits, though I had an odd moment when

damned_colonial mentioned that she was three years old when Brideshead Revisited came out and I felt ancient for a minute. But only for a minute.

Afterwards we went to Bubblicity for Bubble Tea. I have too many friends who shudder and gag at Bubble Tea; it was great to be with three people who like it as much as I do. Much talk about some of our greatest slash heroes, which Alayne took with good grace, not being a slash fan herself. But sympathetic.
