Smallville: Scare

With extreme attention.
It made me realize why I like Smallville so much. It isn't the connection with Superman comics, which I hardly ever read, and if I do it's because of something in them that interests me, usually a connection to Batman or Kon-El or Smallville.
Now, I've been often known to say I watch Smallville because of the Luthor family adventures. Specifically, for the sake of Lex, who is sexy and smart and troubled and so smitten with Clark it sometimes hurts to watch. I find intelligence incredibly attractive and Lex is incredibly intelligent. At least, my Lex is - sometimes in the show he doesn't live up to his potential (as they say) and those are my most-hated bits of the show.
I discovered with Scare that it isn't just that. What I love even more than the Clexiness is seeing Lex doing something heroic.
In Scare he was as heroic as in Jitters. And it reminded me of Hourglass too, another of my favourite episodes.
Thank you so much,

Always nice to see - a mutual respect as well as affection. I really like that.
