Carnivale...

I watched the first episode of season 2 of Carnivale tonight, visiting maaboroshi. It kept making me think of Stephen King. Not quite horror (or I wouldn't be watching) but interestingly mythological dark fantasy. I have come to trust Ben Hawkins: what a strange thought that is. I like the way it carried right on from the last moment of the previous season.

I wonder what's going on with Sophie.

I read and commented on your LJ. I continue to muse over the subject. It seems to me that I ought to be able to attribute mythological names and roles to various figures in Carnivale, but I haven't been able to yet.
