It was

josanpq's birthday on Friday and today we celebrated with her at a housewarming brunch at

lmondegreen's place.

What fun.

We talked about many fannish topics as we ate scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, clementines, fresh bread, and creton. Biting into a bit of soft bread I suddenly found myself with a broken tooth and a little but of metallic filling in my mouth. Uh-oh. Time to call my dentist tomorrow. As if I didn't have better things to do with my time and money.

We had a nice discussion of the plot and characters in Lost. We got a tour of

lmondegreen's new house - she has both a study and a library. We were envious. Even more envious of the library than the fireplace. The nice big kitchen was pretty cool, too.

We made a pledge not to watch the extended edition of Return of the King until we can watch it together on Dec. 18. Less than a month away.
