Lost mythology...

I just read an interesting article about Lost, sent to me by a friend. It's a discussion of 'mythology TV', shows that create a mythic understanding, like Twin Peaks and X-Files (to name two I've seen). It's isn't a very remarkable article (though it's interesting enough), but I particularly liked this line:

They deliver their realities in the peripheries of the storytelling

Interesting article.

I really like Lost. With it doing so well, I don't see it getting cancelled anytime soon - which is what I was afraid of... and not finding out what the whole deal was.

Usually when I like a new show, it disappears quickly - like Firefly or Century City. I am delighted that Lost is an exception!
