Today is the birthday of one of my favourite people. Lisa. We've been friends since Red Pine Camp, when we were both nine. She isn't here, so this isn't to say 'happy birthday' to her - I've already done that by phone. It's just to put on record that I appreciate her friendship; she has been a very good friend over a very many years. There aren't many people as valuable as that in anyone's life.

I just got back from a yoga workshop on 'planning your practice'. It was good. But it was a long day.... lots to do at work, with the phone busy (thank goodness) with people wanting to buy subscriptions and work to catch up on from Friday and Monday and Jennifer off work and all the end of the financial year to tie up.... Whew.

Now I'm home, showered, relaxed and going to read a book.
