Read Ultimate Spider-Man Vol. 6: Venom, and enjoyed it very much: the background on Peter's parents and the connection to Eddie Brock was fun. But best of all was the interaction between Nick Fury and Peter Parker: I love the way Bendis writes that, whenever he writes it, whether in the Ultimate universe or regular continuity. Their dialogue is just so much fun.

The pain hasn't stopped but I'm feeling pretty mellow tonight. The birds are cheeping happily and I'm listening to the Beatles - "Happiness is a Warm Gun". I think little feathered guys like the Beatles.

We received a nice Beatles book here at the library today, about when the Beatles first came to America. *sigh* I had so much of the paraphernalia pictured in that book...magazines, posters, 45s...

That sounds wonderful! blackbyrde gave me some pictures from her old Beatles' calendars so I could use them for my scrapbook. I'm still composing them - the thing is that so many of the pictures are so good, I can hardly bear to reject any of them.
