lmondegreen, after a lovely dinner at the Cheshire Cat. We also watched deleted scenes from Firefly - I hadn't seen the one where River is talking about marrying Simon - what an odd scene! (This is just in case we thought the incestuous vibes were just in our imagination?) And the interview with Keith Richards on the Pirates of the Caribbean tape - hilarious. Loved the artfully draped skull scarf. Keith Richards doing Johnny Depp doing him.
Don Juan DeMarco was one of Johnny Depp's charming movies - and it seems to me that, with a few exceptions, Johnny Depp's movies can be divided into the categories of "charming" and "strange". It's the kind of movie that's hard not to like, at least, if you're a romantic like me. I"m almost as bad as he isn't, but my mask is invisible.
maboroshimaki came back from Montreal today so I am now only surrounded by four budgies, not seven - she took hers home. I miss the added racket. We had breakfast at the Mayflower and talked about what we've done all week, comics, and the coming elections.
