Then I dashed off to the Yang-tse restaurant on Somerset St. and we had dim sum -
Next: a visit to the Silver Snail comic book shop on Bank St. where I ran into Janet, and we talked about comics. I gave into temptation and bought Batman: No Man's Land, vol. 2 and issue #3 of Marvel Knights 4, which I've been wanting to try.
Then Donna,
Next, we went to Tasia's place to play Scrabble. I started the games on a high note with a bingo, followed immediately by another bingo from Donna. Alas, I lost each game to her, by a small margin - we were neck and neck all the way. My best word was probably "stodgy", though "scorned" was rather satisfying. Donna's best was "sequins".
After a hamburger dinner, we watched Tasia and David's video of their recent trip to Australia. Sydney, Perth, the Blue Mountains, Darwin - lots of flora and strange looking fauna.
