Just now I voted in the Spacey Awards. At the last Ottawa Science Fiction Society meeting, people were urging me to vote. I kept forgetting.

So today I voted, at the Spacey Awards on the "Space channel" website. I was surprised by the chocies. Mutant X is Canadian? (Canadian enough, I guess.) I was pleased to see Lex Luthor listed as a contender for "favourite male character". And yes, Clark was one of the choices too. Favourite female character was a difficult choice - none of the Firefly women I love so much were nominees, and the only Smallville choice was Lana Lang - I'd have liked to vote for Chloe or Martha. I couldn't vote for Lana in good conscience, but I do like to see Smallville win awards. I ended up voting for T'Pol, if only because I knew who she was.
