The Boy Who Loved Windows...

Some books, and some subjects, are more compelling than others. I find autism fascinating but it's some years since I've read a new book on the subject. The other day I picked up The Boy Who Loved Windows by Patricia Stacey at the library, and became quite mesmerized by it. I'm still only halfway through.

Patricia Stacey realized there was something wrong with her baby from the minute he was born. The book follows her attempts to find out what was wrong, and what to do about it. Fascinating and disturbing. This is a well-written book in which I feel as if I'm sharing the mother's experience.
