Musical 5 (Uh-oh, I'm in trouble already here....)

1. What is your favorite theme song?

Usually, my favourite fandom - whatever holds my love. Currently that would be Smallville, if we're thinking of TV. Though I could say, any of the Howard Shore Lord of the Rings themes, of which there are a multitude. I always thought The Professionals theme was incredibly ugly but I adored it (and still adore it) anyway. And one that has stuck with me through the years is the theme of It's About Time.

Another theme with resonances for me is the theme song of Bonanza I wasn't ever much of a Bonanza fan but I liked the show, watched it occasionally, and loved the 45 record I had of Lorne Greene singing the theme (with Ringo on the reverse side). I didn't like the theme without the words, but I loved the Lorne Greene song.

2. What is your favorite soundtrack?

An impossible question, since I love so many. My Fair Lady, maybe. Of current stuff: any of the Lord of the Rings soundtracks but also Pirates of the Caribbean. A soundtrack I remember through the ages is that of the original Rollerball.

3. What song(s) reminds you of your fandom(s)?

The soundtracks, of course. I so seldom listen to music that most songs don't remind me of anything.

4. What song reminds you of your pairing?

Songs used during the show - the song, for example, that accompanies the first meeting of Clark and Lex in the pilot episode of Smallvile. I've no idea what it is but I love its associations.

5. What songvid best represents your fandom? Provide a URL if it's available online.

My favourite Smallville music vid - and there are many superb ones - is far from representative: It's a Whitney/Lex/Clark vid and so hardly representative of anything! It's If I Were a Drinker by Soappocrates.

Most representative? I really don't know. I also like the Star Wars Trailer Spook.
