I read two stories I loved this morning, both by scribblinlenore.

The first was Maybe, where no one has what they want so they take what they can get. (I can't help wondering what Clark wants in this scenario.)

The other was Pondering which was a re-examination of the scene in "Visitor" in which Lex shows Helen his secret chamber of Clark.

After reading these I updated my Smallville slash recommendations list, which you can see at fajrdrako's recommendations . I even went so far as to sneak in a story that isn't slash - jenn's Far From Now , which has a remarkable structure and technique - and makes my throat hurt in a good way.

So many good stories, so little time.
