A Muppet Christmas Carol...

Our Christmas movie today was A Muppet Christmas Carol, with Michael Caine and the Muppets. I enjoyed it - very much enjoyed the music - but didn't feel it quite touched the best of Dickens, or the best of the Muppets. Two sources I think of as strong, and yet the movie seemed... pleasant but weak. My favourite character? Usually it's Kermit. This time it was Rizzo the Rat.

A busy, pleasant day: up early, and to the gym; then yoga, and laundry; then went to Dim Sum at the Mandarin Ogilvy with Marion, Vicky and maaseru. Then some Christmas shopping - getting presents for Pim's guinea pigs, for example, and more egg nog, because we seem to be drinking it at a great rate. I've discovered I like egg nog with coffee liqueur. Who knew?
