Grumbling...

About something I've seen a couple of times today.

I'm researching a certain topic that seems to be fairly popular - there are lots of websites devoted to the topic. One several, once I arrive at the webpage, I get a big popup window asking if I want to subscribe to that site - so I have to close it down before I can look at the site at all.

How do I know whether I'd want to subscribe before I even see the site?

I often do like to subscribe to various sites and topics. But let me have a look at what's on offer, first!
