Sunday miscellanea...
Jun. 24th, 2012 11:54 pmSunday...
- Had brunch at the Clocktower on McKay St. I got Eggs Natasha, because of the Avengers-related name. Fangirl to the end. It was delicious, too - poached eggs on an english muffin with smoked salmon, hollandaise sauce, and a salad.
- Went to
josanpq's place to help her pack to move. She was really almost done, but frazzled by it all.
- Read a fabulous graphic novel that I hope to have time to talk about more: Feynman by Jim Ottaviani and Leland Myrick.
- Read a pile of Avengers fanfic, some of it good.
- Watched a movie with
maaseru and Pim: 2012. Rather fun in a 'laws of physics do not apply here' sort of way. I thought John Cusack's character rather bland, for a hero.
- Wrote a zine for an Apa I haven't been in for 15 years or more: APA-LSH, from my days as a fan of Legion of Super-Heroes. It was nice to think about those days; a delightful period of fandom for me. A time I shared with
walkingowl; the memories make me miss her more than ever.
