Bitches and total bastards...

I have been looking at a lot of Facebook pages recently for one of the jobs I'm doing, and I am enjoying it immensely - seeing what people put up about themselves.

One thing I don't understand: the people who start out their description with phrases like "I'm a total bitch". Are they proud of it? Or is it a joke? Or a form of self-loathing? I never know how to take something like that. I'm not even sure what they mean by it.

Try New Stuff Challenge

Over on <http://www.livejournal.com>, a friend of mine issued a Try New Stuff Challenge and I thought I'd do that here.

The idea is: try a new thing every month. Her plan was to try a new vegetable, but it could be anything. Dance a new dance, learn a new song, walk a new route to work. The idea is to do one new thing per month, and blog about it. (Or not.) The more imaginative the better.

I'll leave it a week or two to see if something serendipitously jumps out at me to try. You'll be hearing about it.
