It says, in large print: "Jack Layton was the unshakable optimist. Canadians' reaction to his death this week sends a message to politicians everywhere: Voters want to be inspired.'

Yes!

After decades of cynical pragmatism (and even before), we want politicians who care about the future, and about people, not just about coping and keeping the status quo.

I want politicians who don't think "idealist" is an insult.

Not many Marvel comics costumes, alas. I was hoping at least to see a good Thor this year. Maybe in the Masquerade?
