It's terribly embarrassing how funny I found this version of 'Memory'.

The Joy of Cataloguing..

This afternoon I used by shiny brand new bar code scanner to enter comic books into my cataloguing database.

What fun. I feel very high-tech. And though there's still some of each entry that has to be done manually, it's still quicker than doing it by title and by hand.

Before I die, I want to...

I really liked this photo-essay, where someone named Candy Chang stencilled "Before I die, I want to ______" on an abandoned house in New Orleans. And people wrote on it.

What would I write on it? I can think of several things. One would be, "Before I die, I want to see Ctateau-Gaillard". I have so many ambitions! Walk the Camino de San Diego de Compostella, learn to knit really well, go to an Esperanto congress, weigh 130 pounds again.... What are the odds?

Or maybe I'd write "I want to travel in time", or "I want to meet Francis Crawford", or "I want to know the secrets of the universe."

Or maybe I'd write, "feel no pain".

Wednesday...

Watched three episodes of The Good Wife today - and loved them all. Saw 2x13 "Real Deal", 2x14 "Net Worth", and 2x15 "Silver Bullet" - not quite in that order. ( Favourite bits... )

Saw the new trailer for The Game of Thrones. Nice.
