Busy, busy day. Hired someone for moving comic book boxes tomorrow. Failed to change my physio appointment; will try again in the morning. Cleared more shelves in my bedroom, but couldn't get the shelves dismantled because none of my screw heads would fit. I'll have to tell the man I hired for tomorrow to bring screwdrivers with him.

It's kind of satisfying to get it all done, though. Tiring but good. I did more than I thought I could.

Watched two episodes of The Good Wife, 1x15 and 1x16. Accidentally watched them out of order - got confused about which disc was which. Oops.

[personal profile] commodorified, [personal profile] random, [personal profile] fairestcat and [livejournal.com profile] auriaephiala came over with a gorgeous taco dinner and fruit, and we watched two episodes of White Collar: 1x14, "Out of the Box", and 2x01, "Withdrawal".

Then we sat and had a lengthy discussion of the plot, who to trust and who not to trust. We figured out our theory on the identity of the Secret Master Antagonist, and what was going on with Kate and who she really was, and Fowler's role, and we marvelled all the while at how clever it all is. Dunnettesque, in fact, in its twists and possibilities. The only thing we didn't figure out is the significance of the music box itself. If there is or was something in it, why didn't Neal remove it?

Gad, I love that show.

Morals...

About morals, I know only that what is moral is what you feel good after and what is immoral is what you feel bad after. - - Ernest Hemingway, 1899 - 1961

What a day! I moved 36 boxes of comics into storage with a brawny hired man named Mark. It rained - I feared rain on the comics wfile loading but no. Sheer luck.

I had a thorough physiotherapy session with Leslie - who hurts me a lot more than Lisanne did, but seems to get me more flexibility. She says I should try using my left hand with the typewriter - is she kidding? These painful, immobile sausages that don't even bend towards the keys?

Erk.

The [livejournal.com profile] lunacy_gal came over for a nice relaxed evening spent watching Horation Hornblower "The Duel" and Doctor Who 5x06, "The Vampires of Venice" and eating Chinese food, with cherries and ice cream for dessert. Did many, many arm exercises. The arm now feels terrible, as if it's been pummeled. Apparently this is how it's supposed to feel.

While we were waiting for [livejournal.com profile] lunacy_gal's taxi in the lobby, [livejournal.com profile] maaseru came by and we sat and talked for a while.

Then I cleared out the other shelves in my bedroom so they can be dismantled tomorrow, and took a shopping cart full of papers to the recycling bin, and moved lots of boxes to te living room.

Tired now, but satisfied.
