Studied French.

Went to the book sale at First Avenue Public School. Got a few French books, including a historical novel about the wife of Samuel de Champlain. Despite my current French obsession, a copy of Teach Yourself Russian somehow fell into my possession. Also a James Lee Burke novel.

I then went to the eye doctor. My eyesight is just as it was two years ago.

While J.T. assembled maaseru's new computer desk, Yolande played games on my computer while I read comics. Then we went for supper at the Peach Garden - ooh, those amazing Jar Du chickens wings: no one anywhere makes them as well. Then explodedteabag and I reassembled the electronics on maaseru's desk.

Nice day, though somehow it managed to feel both busy and non-productive.
