I've been on the road most of the day with
maaseru, from Ottawa to Stratford. It was a hot but pleasant drive that involved shopping at Henry's in Pickering, getting close enough to Toronto to see the CN Tower, and a lovely dinner at a Baton Rouge in Mississauga. Lunch was the traditional chicken at the Swiss Chalet in Port Hope.
So here we are in Stratford again, and I am reminded that when we were here last year, neither
maaseru could walk worth anything; now we're both striding around like champions. They've renovated the hotel since last year, and the restaurant seems to be only open for breakfast - a pity, since I enjoyed my meals there, but there are many places to eat in this town.
And tomorrow, the Farmer's Market in St. Jacob's, all going well.
