Every morning for a long time now I have wakened up in the morning to see it's snowing.

Today - suprise. It isn't snowing.

It's cold and clear, one of those crisp blue winter days that make your toes ache and your skin shrink from the cold. It's actually really nice for walking: the snow isn't slippery or difficult to walk in, it's brittle and granular.

Problem, though: the cold makes my eyes run, the tears freeze on my face, and I end up with uncomfortable red blotches that may be frostbite. Putting a scarf around my face doesn't help, it just makes the process wetter. Goggles don't help, since they steam up immediately and I can't see a thing.

I haven't been able to think of other solutions. Yet.
