1. When did you start watching?

May, 2006.

1a. Why?

It had been recommended to me by people whose judgement I respect and trust, including

simhedges and

commodorified.

2. What was your first episode?

I saw "New Earth" and "School Reunion" at a meeting of the Montreal Science Fiction Society. I then went back home to watch "Rose".

3. Which episodes have you seen?

Everything since the 1996 movie - unless there's something I don't know about.

3a. Favourite?

4. Are your friends/family interested in the show?

Some friends are. I watch with them. I recently got

lmondegreen watching, yay!

5. Which Doctor is your favourite?

Nine.

6. Which Doctor is your least favourite?

Of the ones I've seen, Eight. But that should be taken with a grain of salt - I haven't seen many of them. Only snatches of 1 to 7.

7. Which TV companion is your favourite?

Captain Jack Harkness. Second favourite: Martha Jones.

8. Which TV companion is your least favourite?

Adam. Remember, I haven't seen many of them.

9. Do you listen to the Big Finish audios?

Sometimes.

No. I don't think so.

Yes.

I've read some of the comics in Doctor Who Magazine. Are there others?

Yes.

Love them all. I'm most fannish about Torchwood - writing stories, and talking about it most - but I love all three shows.

Yes.

I never, never post snippits of works in progress. I post finished works only. Usually betaed finished works which have been through several drafts.

2. Do you create Doctor Who icons?

No. Well, seldom. Torchwood, sometimes.

No, though I've been to many SF conventions.

Not yet.

Yes. A sonic screwdriver, action figures of Nine and Captain Jack Harkness, a plastic pterodactyl, a TARDIS pin and a Dalek pin, a set of stamps, numerous magazines. I want to get the Torchwood playing cards but I haven't found a way to order them yet.

7. Are you a fan of Russell T Davies?

Yes.

Yes, most definitely.

Not yet. I haven't been to the UK since I started watching the show.

16. Do you have any fannish opinions that you think are fairly unpopular?

If we're counting Torchwood, I love Gwen Cooper. I liked "Fear Her". Don't much like John Simm as the Master, and hated "The Last of the Time Lords" but I'm learning to cope.

17. What's your favourite pairing?

Jack/Doctor.

18. What pairing(s) won't you touch with a really long pole?

I was about to say, "if we're including Torchwood, anything featuring Owen Harper", then remembered just in time that my current story in progress is, in fact, a slashfic about Owen. So I can't say that. Drat.

Okay: I wouldn't touch, and won't touch, Doctor/Master fic.

Or at least... I probably won't write it. Might read it.
